Well I guess I'll start out by saying that I'm Ashley. I am a lover of all things involving art. Since I was a little I have always gravitated towards the arts & crafts section of the world. When I got to college art became a way of relaxing and decorating my apartment on a budget. Since graduating from UT and moving back home I used my love of art to decorate my entire home. My husband recently encouraged me to explore all the different interest in art while I was in between jobs. Instead of going back to my comfortable paints and watercolors I picked up my embroidery materials.
My first embroidery lesson was in third grade and it was very basic. I taught myself more and more over the years, but drifted away cause I was busy. Then a couple of weeks ago I just found a new passion for it. I loved all the design possibilities and decided to make my own line of handmade embroidered pendant necklaces. I love thinking up new sketches to create into little masterpieces.
I'm just starting out, but I am already so excited. Even if nothing comes of this I am so happy to have found a new level of love & inspiration for art.
